Market-leading 3D capture and measurement solutions provider Fuel3D has been shortlisted for two Oxfordshire Business Awards: The Oxford Science Park Innovation Award and The Syndicut Marketing Excellence Award.
This year marks the 25th year of the Oxfordshire Business Awards (OXBA), a benchmark for business excellence in today’s competitive business landscape. The prestigious Innovation Award recognises the development of an innovative product or service while the Marketing Excellence Award celebrates marketing campaigns, digital solutions and social media strategies that make a real difference to business.
George Thaw, CEO of Fuel3D said: “I’m delighted that Fuel3D has been shortlisted in two such competitive categories. Innovation sits at the heart of our business and these awards recognise the real talent we have in our organisation and how committed our people are to developing and bringing to market ground-breaking 3D technology solutions.”
Fuel3D’s has been chosen as a finalist in the Innovation Award for the development of its BioVolume™ subcutaneous tumour measurement platform which is being used in global pre-clinical oncology trials. BioVolume improves the accuracy and traceability of trial data to reduce the time to market of new drugs and will be integral in saving and improving millions of lives.
Fuel3D’s high-impact ‘How does your face fit?’ campaign has been shortlisted for the Marketing Excellence Award for its success in raising brand awareness and creating commercial opportunities for the company’s innovative new 3D facial scan and fitting platform, FitsYou. The campaign was launched at the 2018 Goodwood Festival of Speed where Fuel3D showcased its technology solution in the Future Lab, a curation of the hottest technologies of tomorrow. Attendees had the opportunity to take a ‘3D selfie’ and compare their facial measurements and proportions with those of racing driver Johnny Mowlem’s captured on a 3D scan. The closest match each day of the show won a pair of custom made glasses, in a competition which was a modern day spin of the Cinderella and the glass slipper story.
The winners of OXBA 2019 will be announced on 14 June 2019 at an awards dinner at The John Brookes Building, Oxford Brookes University. For further details visit https://www.oxfordshirebusinessawards.co.uk/
