Fuel3D to showcase latest BioVolume developments at FELASA and TUMOUR MODELS this summer
Fuel3D will be demonstrating BioVolume at two major industry congresses this summer. BioVolume is in operation in labs across Europe and America. In the last three months over 17,500 data points have been collected, achieving 92% and 98% measurement accuracy for length and width respectively (within +/-3mm of calliper measurements) and an inter-operator consistency of 96% for the same measurements between operators.
At both shows we will be showcasing all the benefits of using BioVolume which include greater precision and better science, full traceability, and improved animal welfare in adherence with the 3Rs (Refinement, Reduction and Replacement).
Juan Delgado our Lead Data Scientist will be presenting seminars at both events:
FELASA 14th Congress, 10 – 13 June 2019, Prague, Czech Republic
- Imaging and innovations Stream – Monday 10th, 10:30-12:00: Using 3D imaging and AI to Improve Scientific and 3R outcome in cancer research, Juan Delgado
- Visit Fuel3D at booth #B30.
Tumour Models, 16 – 18 July, Boston, Massachusetts
- Advances in Preclinical and Translational Imaging Stream – Wednesday 17th, 14:10: Using 3D Imaging & AI to Advance Preclinical Cancer Research, Juan Delgado
- Visit the Fuel3D booth in the exhibition area.
Both events are set to put some of the most exciting new technologies in preclinical research under the microscope and provide a forum for the industry to collaborate on improving animal welfare and oncological research.
FELASA, the Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations represents over 4,000 specialists in the field of laboratory animal science from 28 countries and 21 constituent associations. The FELASA Congress, has grown to become the largest European laboratory animal science event attracting almost 2,000 participants. This year’s congress is being organised with CLASA, the Czech Laboratory Animal Science Association.
The 7th Annual Tumour Models Boston summit is dedicated to exploring the latest advances in the application of preclinical models to enhance the translation of cancer therapies from bench to patient. Over 120 attendees from 80 organisations from academia, industry and model providing services are set to share knowledge and best practice to define the future of cancer drug development.
