On 12-15 July, more than 200,000 people will descend on Goodwood for the world’s largest motoring garden party, set against the spectacular backdrop of Goodwood House in West Sussex. Every year the Goodwood Festival of Speed with its iconic hill climb attracts a heady mix of the world’s finest cars and drivers, both past and present. This year is the 25th anniversary and we are delighted to have been chosen to showcase our innovative 3D technology platform as part of the Future Lab exhibition.
The Future Lab is a curated immersive technology experience that plays host to some of the most innovative and forward-thinking visions of the future. Bursting with interactive displays and demonstrations, guests will be able to experience first-hand the technology of tomorrow.
We’ll be showcasing our 3D facial scan and personalisation platform alongside innovative technologies from consumer technology giants Samsung and Siemens. Stars of the show include a jet pack which is capable of 200mph and an altitude of 10,000ft, and the quirky Makr Shakr, a robot bartender who will be creating an endless list of cocktails and mocktails and can even mimic the shaking of a Martini and the slicing of a lemon garnish.
As part of our installation, guests will be able to explore the unique 3 Dimensions of their face, share their own 3D selfie and see if their face fits in our modern-day tale of Cinderella competition. Each day of the show we’ll be giving away a custom-made pair of sunglasses to an individual who achieves the closest facial fit to our mystery racer. Anyone, young or old, can enter the competition and find out how their face measures up as we’ll be looking to find the person with the closest matching proportions to our celebrity’s key facial landmarks.
While we can’t promise you the co-ordination of a racing star, we can promise a perfectly fitting pair of glasses. We are all unique and in today’s increasingly competitive retail landscape our platform demonstrates the role technology can play in personalising the performance of products, redefining customer experience and helping to set brands apart.
The Future Lab will be open to the public throughout the entire Goodwood Festival of Speed, from 7am until 7pm on 12-15 July 2018. If you’re coming along to the Festival, come and find us in the Futures Lab and see how your face fits. We’re really looking forward to an action packed few days.
